At the Height of Civilization, comes De-Civilization
Why is that?
I believe the world would somehow after the height of civilization, spiral downwards toward a world that we now would think as uncivilized. Its slowly becoming true.
I just read an article about a Spanish gym; it let its patrons workout naked. No, seriously, in their birthday suits! Well I don't see the purpose of it, because I like some undergarments holding my balls in place. It just shows that no matter what civilization brings to us, a better community, economy, human rights; some of us are still wanting something more natural. Its human nature to be comfortable in our first skins. Now that public places are letting us be as free as a chimpanzee, the brave would jump at the chance I guess.
Another thing that worries me, peace has never reached out to the whole world, many countries are still at war. This glutton for power and the lure of conquest will never fade from man's instinct. I have read a book about companies being able to buy a few countries and setup a new empire there. Why not, so many MNC's are richer than some countries, buying over one, developing it and making it its own market could be a future business strategy. Slowly, these empires would grow and other companies may fight to gain certain parts of the earth. Sounds a bit like ancient times where there would be empires at war with each other, with swords and bows. In the future, I assume, it would be numbers. Back then, it was the machine of war that propelled nations into glory, war technology brought them up. Right now, its more about money and economy, hence the numbers I was talking about meant money or stock; that would tell how powerful a group such as a company or any nation is. Its a new war, a war of companies, of sales and women would be the army, I guess. Buy buy buy and buy.
What else? Desperation; before every point of a spike in development or civilization, there was desperation. The need and drive that got mankind working their socks of for something better. Well, I think in the future, with all the technology, law and order, economy, work and studies, the new desperation is to break free. Like now, we hear more about rapists and the porn industry is getting bigger, there is a nude gym, private parties encouraging orgies, clubs that encourage cheating or swinging (if they really needed another name for cheating). Its the natural human instinct breaking out. I'm pretty sure you have asked yourself why is life getting more stressed. I'm 20, at the best time of my life, supposedly, and I have never felted this stressed before, when will I be desperate to be a free human being? Its the social connection between others, the common understanding of what's "cool" or "uncool" or what is now "right" or "wrong". All of that would change, just like how Bieber divided the world.

Chi Kit's Attempt at being Nostradamus
But I'm pretty sure the catastrophes you see in it is not going to happen. A catastrophe may happen, but more people will survive cause there are many people much smarter than the Americans in emergency situations. Though, if 2012 is "the end of the world"; I believe that many species would survive and thrive later including humans. The term "end of the world" I assume would be segregation of communities of humans in different places, far away without means to communicate so in the survivors eyes, end of whatever world they remembered being.
Why earthquakes and asteroids? Why not Earth losing its magnetic shield? Apparently, the Earth's magnetic field changes or flips.. South to North and vice versa and it takes a week to revert back to its original and current known position...think about that, the powerful and dangerous radioactive rays from the sun killing our communications, economic crisis occurs as trading and international transportation has to stop. and blablabla..
till I get another idea, i shall stop this..

I Don't Wanna Sleep on a Goodnight...
So why not comfortable night?; Ah, that's sweet, now, it really feels like I am gonna find it nice to sleep tonight. Or maybe "silent night"; that's alright to sleep in. So, those of you who read this, be kind to your family and friends and wish them a comfortable night, or silent night so they'll sleep tight.
I kept thinking when it'll be a real goodnight, really, I haven't had a good night in a long time..(hahaha, don't think dirty now) ;p . I think my version of a good night would be a productive night (dont think dirty!), cause I feel that the night can be very inspiring (dont be dirty, again!) and for some, romantic (do think dirty).
I actually asked people about this issue once.. Here's a smart answer from miss Tay Xin Yan, an old friend of mine, "err, cause the night's only good when you start sleeping?". I just think that's sad and lonely, or she can be very, fat..hahaha..but she's not..
So, what is your version of a good night?

Crazeologies Reinitiating..
EMO TALKS..
To the very few who knew about what Crazeologies were..there's a hint here that my mind is turning back to it..Although I have forgotten much of my Crazeologies, it is time to start all over. I remember one tho, for life is like a river..Sometimes, being alone helps you more than trying to find someone to talk to. Now I realized why the Outward Bound School let the participants go on a solo camp to reflect on themselves. It's amazing how it works; it was more like important epiphanies; flashes of answers to questions you never thought you would ask yourself about. Nonetheless, there's always a useless epiphany in my head, to share with y'all this sad, emotional time I'm having.
Anyways, that alone time I spent out by myself, somehow made me realized all the mistakes I have made in my life; and I'm still having flashbacks..grrrr. The good part is, this accidental self-reflection only made me more eager to live and never regretted those blardy mistakes. AWESOME, wait, maybe I do regret certain things. But "What The Hacks", what's so big about "gret" that makes "regret" so bad?
I think that people approach others, especially their best friends or certain friends to find answers they themselves want to hear. They would approach people whom they know would ease them of their troubles or give advice they want to hear. Even for people to ask for a way to better themselves or to ask for an honest opinion, it is all for their own sake. Everyone wants what they want and do things for their own benefit. I have to confessed that I am too, like that, then I realize, there's no changing what is not physical.. Think about this...
Headaches are a good way of getting outta that "funky reflecting period" as I'm having one now. That's all I can emo about, sorry for wasting your blardy time; and my time too. Thanks for reading =); its about all the courtesy I can come up with.

I ain't just a complainer...=)
Here are some of my "funky" ideas:
1. Drainage systems that extend under roads and allows water to seep into soil
2. Cars with a "cooldown" button, allowing engines to have slower revs during jams.
3. Car interiors with heat resistance -I just hate black leather seats, heard of BBQ bums?-
4. A specially shaped umbrellas to shield pedestrians from rain water blown into them
5. Planting trees all over the city and have irrigation techniques that reduce damage or property done by tree roots
6. Genetically modified grass for our football pitches.
7. WARNING, HIGH LEVEL OF STUPIDITY- teh tarik and teh ais vending machines.
8. Piping that allows natural (sun) heaters for showers.
9. Using heat resistant materials for building -e.g. foam for exterior
10. Coloured tar roads that reflect heat but still not blind drivers.
11. Fashion fit for hot weather. we need a new and local brand
Now my likes and dislikes..
I'm proud of
1.Malaysian timing - how we can use it as an excuse, just awesome.
2.Manglish -one word for that; convenient-
3. Good food -you nod in agreement-
4. Being able to find food at 3am -once again, you nod in agreement-
5. Brave DVD vendors -gosh, how else would I be able to watch Ironman 9 times?-
6. Brave throwing experts (newspaper vendors) -UNSUNG HEROES-
7. Able to find random comedy
8. Air Asia
9.Bak Kut Teh
I'm not so proud of:
1. Pity toward students resulting in lower education levels
2. Staying up late culture
3. Drivers (sometimes, including myself)
4. Orang puith cakap macam tu, kita ikut pulak
5. Services

Malaysia Boleh?

Well, look at the Petronas Twin Towers, KLIA, the man who went to space and had roti canai. Malaysia's few milestones but is it really that Malaysian? Petronas towers - 99% designed by Europeans; KLIA - designed by a Jap; Angkasawan - if he were an engineer or something, he would have been some help rather wasting space in space. I do not want to start on Proton.
Eye of Malaysia copied the Eye of London, most probably, the picture was taken at night to hide the dirty water.Malaysians, I think, there's lack of creativity and ingenuity when it comes to development; or maybe we just don't really care; or we find it hard to mass produce things. You see, "Malaysia is truly asia" & "Malaysia is unique" quoted from the travel adverts, I feel, are words that really, really signify Malaysia. Truly asia and unique, but still, we Malaysians often settle for innovations from the far west, the far east and as far from the equator as possible. Some technology just can't work efficiently here. For example, convertible cars, powerful cars, umbrellas, highways, latest fashions and many more!
Developed countries just aren't the same as Malaysia. Therefore, a lot of technologies are just not suited for the environment here and the fact that Malaysia tends to follow the G8's footsteps to achieve development; just makes us sound like copycats. Furthermore, the weather here affects many things but Malaysians never thought of adapting to it; instead, we think that it's just something we have to live with; typical Malaysian thinking. More research and engineering should be done to make Malaysia better. That is if and only if Malaysians start to think for the country, and not thinking of trying to get out of its weird political situations.
These pictures were on the first Google page for image search "Malaysia". - I realized what most of the world would see first when they type "Malaysia" on Google Images-Most man-made attractions of Malaysia are not truly Malaysian products. How can we be proud of that? So, where's the originality?Only the natural beauty of our country is "ori" from Malaysia. No wonder the Europeans thought we lived in trees; cause they were doing the building for us all along.
